Please refer to the JCQ regulations. The criteria for an access arrangements assessor are at the top of page 89, (section 7.3.4) and that is where it states that they must hold "an appropriate qualification to teach". It is your head of centre’s responsibility to ensure the appointed access arrangements assessor is suitably qualified in line with the JCQ criteria.
Will your head of centre sign a declaration to state that they believe you hold suitable qualification(s)?
You must complete an eligibility essay to confirm that you are ready to study at level 7 or you can enrol & complete CCET first which will demonstrate that you can study at level 7. (CCET is an open access course)
