At Real e-Learning we’re well-used to managing sensitive data and maintaining a secure online environment. A number of our courses relate to the work of teaching professionals and their pupils and require the submission and management of information that is private, personal and potentially sensitive. We are fully conversant with both the requirements of the Data Protection Act and the secure management of sensitive data online.
Our technology team are up to date with the latest security technology and ensure that our learning solutions meet all ICT security policies including understanding current systems properties, operating systems, network settings, browsers and policies.
We base our e-learning and digital media projects on the open-source WordPress platform as a content management system. WordPress is actively developed by a dedicated and growing user-base and is currently powering more than 20% of the world-wide web. Consequently, the platform continually innovates and improves its security layers and functionality to ensure maximum security for both users and servers and regular updates are released and installed.
In addition, we utilise a wide range of additional security measures to further harden the security of its sites and e-learning solutions. Regular backups and security checks are put in place to ensure that additional security concerns are addressed and appropriately managed.
